Whew- it's been awhile...busy as usual
I am working on a Cultural Fusion Art as Philosophy Tour and Art 4 The Homeless supporters top my list of places to plan dates around. In addition to having some virtual links for members of this group to plug into, we will be including locations related to organizations and causes we are actively engaged in supporting. While we are stopped in the Atlanta area we will have a series of events with the goal of raising money for Art4TheHomeless to help local programs/shelters.

I have spoken to Johnna about this briefly but would love to have a few conference call or skype meetings to make this something this group is actively engaged in. I am interested in quality attention over quantity at this time so if you'd be interested in participating as an exhibiting or performing artists this might be a match.

I look forward to seeing what develops.

Hi Johnna,

Just wanted to quickly let you know that if you are doing a standard nonprofit set up you don't need an attorney. If you need any help let me know - I will look and see if I still have some bylaws that I can send to you to use as a template model. Send me an email to remind me if you don't get one from me this week. I may also be able to help you with your application for the State and IRS IF you need it.

Send Chris an email and let him know what time/date will work for you guys and he'll set that up on my calendar.

Yes, I will have lots of fun watching the proposal take shape - the results will be worth it I'm sure.

Yvette, how have you been my friend? Glad to see you are on today :) I went and researched on filing the articles of incorporation for Art4TH and hopefully it will be done sometime in October :D I am beginning to draft some bylaws and such but the legal language is very confusing so I am having to learn as I go as I haven't yet found an attorney willing to aid us. I would love to have an internet chat with you and Doni, and will probably do it when I am at Denise's shop~she's decided to also join us and plus her internet connection is way better than my home connection.

Have fun with that research proposal!

Thanks so much taking the time to appreciate the intention here :-) I really enjoyed your profile and I appreciate that you shared your dream with us.

I am working on a research proposal so that has much of my attention for the next few weeks BUT if you and Dame Johnna would like to get this thing rolling with just us to start I will make some time for that. I am even working on including working with Art4TheHomeless members that are interested as a component in this research project I am developing - so it is all connected.

I can set up a conference call line by phone or we can do it on Skype to avoid long distance charges is that would be an issue.
Please just let me know and we'll get this baby rolling :-)

I wanted to go ahead and open this group. I am in a time crunch to get some work done so I will return to get something going here later - IF someone else doesn't do it first. Either way, I look forward to learning more about what everyone is doing and how we can work together to help each other as we unify to help Art4TheHomeless.
