Why am I a part of this great cause, and so many others?"
The answer, you ask?!
I support this great cause, and as many others as I possibly can, because these are the beliefs instilled in me even as a small child. My family taught me the pride of working, and giving your all at whatever your job may be at the moment. They taught me to GIVE MORE THAN I RECEIVE. Thus, the reason for me joining this cause, and so many others. I fight to stop child abuse, and to keep rapists in prison where they belong. And to ALWAYS be HUMBLE, no matter how much money I do or don't have in the bank. I was taught HUMILITY, HONOR, Selflessness, and to have Integrity. And to always be proud of ANYTHING that I do. Give quietly, and never brag about what you have It is unbecoming to us as ONE! Giving, to me, is a very private act of kindness. And I do it under cover of night, and in the light of day, searching the eyes of strangers, or friends I've not met yet, as I like to think of everyone, searching through, to see inside their souls, and Spirits, to see just what it is that I could do for that person, or this person, or group, charity, organization, safe house, soup kitchen, homeless shelter...you get the picture. My Spirit sets me free to wander. And as I write this answer, I realize that I owe so much to my family, and family of friends, for putting up with my sometimes outrageous ideas, and for listening tentatively to the ones that DO/DID make sense. Ever pushing me forward is this infinite need to help those who, like myself, have suffered hardship...for we all have suffered in some way, at some time during our lives. Some more than others. Some less. I don't deal well with people who are arrogant, or selfish, and self-centered. I am an Advocate of Humanity, Mother Earth, and tending to all creatures great and small, as the saying goes. And replentishing that which we sprip from the soil, as much as humanly possible. And I leave the rest to my FAITH, MY GOD/Goddess. If you don't like that answer, I will not apologize for it is My 'self.' And I haoppen to LOVE, finally, my 'self', and who I've grown into...what journeys this life has led me on and the trials that I've been through alone, and with family and friends, and perfect strangers...those friends I have not met yet, again! They all keep me grounded. THIS IS ME! AND FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A VERY LONG TIME, I LIKE ME! Thanks to the love of my family, which includes my very special and beautiful partner in life! And thanks to MY GOD/GODDESS, for carrying me through the hardest of times, and still carrying me, at times, through the darkness, forward, and into the Light. I am truly Blessed, and wish to share those Blessings with every person, and in every way that I possibly can, with the little money that I have, and ALL of my TIME and ENERGY! Thanks for asking me to ask myself a question about my 'self.' It is much appreciated. And, so you see, to sum things up in a word or 3, I am Nature's Child, I look past what is seen. Past the assupmtions and presumptions of Mortal Man, into the eyes of ONE all-knowing, ever standing beside me, to guide and spare me the pain of loneliness, heartache, and too much pain. I do not fear. I am surrounded by LOVE. Engulfed by LOVE...and the joy in knowing that I am sober, and somewhat healthy, and LOVED!" So, I share ALL that I can possibly share, in whatever way possible, to whatever need crosses my path, or falls in my lap...I AM LOVED. And I GIVE THAT LOVE !) FOLD IN RETURN! I ask for nothing back,...only that we care a bit less about money, and gifts, and care more about our Mother Earth and all Creatures living here. PEACE BE TO ALL WHO ENTER OUR HOME AND OUR HEARTS! What or who influences you?

Everything and everyone around me!

How many languages do you speak?

One. But I do know a few words of French, Spanish, and now Dutch!

What song do you hate the most? Ok, so did just mentioning that song get it stuck in your head?

ALL RAP SONGS THAT DEGRADE HUMANITY!!!

If you could go back or forward in time,where would you go?

I don't want to go backwards! I'm happy right where I am, and look forward to learning what each 'blink' unfolds for me, and for my partner!

Describe a conversation that you have had with yourself in public? Did anyone look at you funny? Did they join in or laugh at you?

Always, I talk to myself, and yes, someone did respond with a fabulous answer once, which was, "Don't worry honey, every once in a while you've just GOT to talk to SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY MAKES SENSE!" lol. A nurse told me that once when my dad was a patient years ago. A much needed laugh followed. And, I've not forgotten that line since that moment!

GIVE, GIVE, GIVE. PROMOTE PEACE, LOVE, AND UNDERSTANDING OF ALL HUMANITY, AND GIVE BACK TO OUR EARTH FOR IT'S THE ONLY ONE WE HAVE...TEND IT CAREFULLY, AND REPLENTISH IT AND NOURISH NEW GROWTH IN ALL WAYS. SPEAK FREELY, BUT WITH DIGNITY AND PRIDE IN WHAT YOU SAY. BELIEVE IN YOUR 'SELF', AND LOVE LIKE IT'S THE LAST DAY OF YOUR LIFE! LAST BUT NOT LEAST...NEVER LEAVE SOMEONE YOU CARE ABOUT WITHOUT TELLING THEM AND SHOWING THEM THAT YOU LOVE THEM DEARLY, AND THAT THEY ARE TRULY APPRECIATED AND CHERISHED!
